On Friday, there were two games between desert teams. Xavier won big against Cathedral City beating the Lions 48-6. Shadow Hills took care of Desert Hot Springs 44-10.
La Quinta was successful in Hesperia 22-21. Yucaipa beat Palm Desert 27-21. Indio lost a home game against Western Christian 47-6. Coachella Valley dropped a road game to Palo Verde Valley losing 40-24. Twentynine Palms beat Rubidoux 41-12. Yucca Valley wasn’t as lucky against Chaffey losing 28-21. Desert Christian Academy took care of San Jacinto Valley Academy 58-7. Finally Nordhoff beat Desert Chapel 47-13.
